If you have a problem with the size or conformity of the helmet and you wish to return the product for a refund, this is possible within the legal time limit in force in your region. However, as a manufacturer of security products, our returns procedure is strict and part of the payment may be retained in the event of non-compliance with the return rules. Your ROOF helmet must be returned into its original box, with its bag and protective foam bag. The box must not be damaged or torn, nor taped. It must itself be repackaged in packaging as when you received it, before reshipment.

Your ROOF box contains important legal information and essential safety labels. All of them, as well as the label on the visor, must be returned with the helmet, in the box or inside the helmet.

The product must never have been worn apart from the fitting and must not have suffered any damage or transformation. No traces of makeup or scratches should be visible. A complete and rigorous inspection is carried out with each return and before each refund.

8. Right of withdrawal and return of products

Purchases made on the www.roof.fr site are covered by a "satisfied or refunded" guarantee. If a product ordered on www.roof.fr is not suitable or does not come up to your expectations, you have the option of returning it to us for a refund.

The right of withdrawal can be exercised online within 14 days from the date of reception of the order, particularly if use is made of the form on the ROOF International website to be found at the following address: WITHDRAWAL FORM. This form must be e-mailed to the address web@roof.fr and be printed out and attached to the package of the product being returned.

An acknowledgment of receipt on a durable medium will then be sent immediately to the buyer. Any other means of declaring a withdrawal is acceptable. It must be unambiguous and express the wish to withdraw.

If you are not satisfied with the product that was delivered, you can return the items in pristine condition within 14 days from the date of sending your declaration of withdrawal. All items must be returned to us new, clean, unused, functional and complete in their original packaging, along with any accessories supplied. Any product returned incomplete or damaged will always be rejected by our departments. Return costs borne by the customer.

You are responsible for any impairment of the value of the property(s) resulting from manipulation (other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the property(s)). Therefore, we recommend that you return the product in the same condition as you received it (Items in new condition must be returned new, unused and complete, including all accessories, and the packaging must be present and free of damage).

If you have done something that was not necessary to test the product, which implies that the item is no longer in a new condition, the refund will be partial. Examples of such cases are:

  • Product damaged, scratched, stained, broken.
  • Product used: Pinlock lens affixed to the screen or peeled off, protective film removed, stickers stuck on the helmet, traces of wear...
  • Incomplete product. For example, if you do not return all documents (such as manuals) and accessories (such as additional cushions) with the product.
  • Packaging missing or damaged, when it was not necessary to touch for testing. For example, do not tear the box when it is enough to open easily with the system of tabs. Also do not damage the packaging of accessories, because you can already check whether you have bought the right product by looking at them. Do not apply adhesive to the packaging. All labels must be present and intact. The wedges, protective covers must be returned and placed in the packaging for the protection of the returned helmet. The packaging must be put in a cardboard overpack for the return.

You will always get a full refund if you take care of the product, accessories, notices and labels and packaging. Below you will find the situations in which we deduct fees and the percentage retained :

No deduction will be made in this case.

 

Good condition

-          Outside packaging or inside packaging unnecessarily damaged and visible (ex: cutter cuts or scissors, ripping...)

-          The box, packaging or packing is not included in the return.

-          Origin labels are not included in the return

-          The protective film of the Pinlock is removed

 

A deduction of 5 to 10% will be made.

 

Moderate Condition

-          Accessory parts are missing

-          The object has some traces of wear or traces of use other than for the necessary handling as it could be carried out in physical store.

 

A deduction of 15 to 30% will be made.

 

Bad condition

-          Essential parts are missing

-          The object is damaged, scratched, with parts to be repaired

-          The stickers have been glued on the helmet

-          Pinlock has been installed on the screen

 

A deduction of 35% to 50% will be made.

 

 

If the condition of the helmet implies a higher discount, your return will be refused because it will not comply with the legal right of withdrawal and we will propose in this case to return your return in the state you returned. You will then have to pay for your return shipping label on our online site by indicating your return details.

The refund of returned products and shipping costs of the original order will be made after a compliance check.
